In 2020 a popular treat for many Bangkok kids and adults was the Chicky Chicky dessert. The sign reads, “…made from white chocolate mousse that hide the deliciousness inside with soft pudding. You will surprise with the exotic deliciousness!!!”
The outside bird face is made from white chocolate mousse. Inside is a slice of milk chocolate atop pudding, or a flan. Decadent indeed.
Cost: 85 Baht (~$2.60 USD).
I walked into the bakery to look around and easily found the Chickys. They were nested in a wok, ready to be plucked. Next time I see Chickys I will try one, and get back to you on how delicious they are.
